日本を代表する染色家で、97歳の現在でも精力的に活動を続ける柚木沙弥郎氏の型染絵です。
題名は不明ですが、可愛らしい招き猫や狛犬、松に梅など縁起物が描かれたおめでたい雰囲気の作品です。
木綿の生地に型染し和紙で裏打ちした作品は柔らかな独特の風合いを醸し出し、ユーモラスで温かみのあるモチーフと相まって見るものを和ませてくれます。
現在では型染絵の制作は終了しているようですので、希少な作品かと思います。
※フレーム素材はガラスパネルに木製枠です。

額に多少のキズはありますが(画像参照)、外観上大きく目立つダメージはなく、作品自体も良好なコンディションかと思います。
