銅製のシェード四面に木立のシルエットを型抜きし、木漏れ日のような美しい光を表現するペンダント照明。金工家、鶴岡 鉦次郎(つるおか・しょうじろう/1936-2010)によるデザインで、1970年代に"AKAGANE"シリーズとしてヤマギワから販売されていました。一面ごと裏表二枚の銅版を貼り合わせ、各面同士が溶接ではなくはめ込みと縫い合わせで接合されており、極めて手のかかった構造で作られています。木立の隙間から漏れ出す光が壁面に幻想的な陰影を描き出す工芸アートの性格を併せ持った照明です。

経年の品のため銅製品特有の変色やヨゴレ、一部フレームの折れ曲がりや若干の凹み等はありますが、外観に大きく影響するようなダメージはございません。
