旧チェコスロバキアを代表するプロダクトデザイナー｢Jaroslav Ježek / ヤロスラフ・イェジェク｣がチェコスロバキアの老舗名窯Royal Dux ( ロイヤル・ダックス)社より1950年代に発表した”CAT”フィギュア。
1958年のベルギー・ブリュッセル万博でグランプリを受賞し、「ブリュッセルスタイル」と呼ばれるクラシックとモダンが共存する独特のスタイルを牽引したデザイナー"イェジェク"の造形美が凝縮されたシリーズ作品の一つです。
こちらは製造年は不明ながら、マットな質感にグレーがかった色味の珍しい仕様。
アールデコ期を思わせるモダンなフォルムに、磁器表面の陰影やハイライトが美しいコントラストを生み、造形美をよりいっそう際立たせます。

ヴィンテージ品ですがチップやキズなどの特筆するダメージはなく、良好なコンディションかと思います。
尾の付け根付近にタグシールの付いていた跡があります(画像参照)。
