伊豆の湯河原に工房を構える陶芸家･西川聡さん作の赤いポットです。
コロンとしたかたちに深みのある赤の色合い、何気なくつけられた文様が表情をさらに豊かにしています。
見る角度によって様々な景色を見せてくれる、使っても眺めても楽しめる作品です

蓋裏に一箇所僅かにチップのように見える箇所がありますが(画像参照)、製造時のものか後に付いたものか判断致しかねます。
その他特に使用された形跡もなく綺麗な状態で、恐らくは未使用品かと思われます。
