iittala社で生産されていた ”HIMALAJA(ヒマラヤ)” ロックグラス、デザインは彫刻家･ジュエリーデザイナーのBjorn Weckstorm 。
その名の通り、ヒマラヤの山を厚いグラスの底に閉じ込めた神秘的なデザイン。
フロストガラスによって雪を被った山を表現した巧みさ、ガラスの重厚感に加え、注ぐものによっても様々な表情が楽しめる工夫も凝らされています。
廃番となった現在でも高い人気を誇る名作です。
箱やシールロゴから恐らくは80-90年代初頭の製品かと思われます。
