スウェーデン・Rorstrand社より1968年に発表された"POP"シリーズのティーポットです。
デザインはStig Lindbergの門下で学び、Rorstrandをはじめいくつもの工房で活躍したスウェーデンを代表するデザイナー/陶芸家のInger Persson。
胴の部分が大きく広がり、注ぎ口とハンドルは横方向に伸び、蓋の頭頂部はとがった独特のフォルムで、タージ･マハルやアラジンの魔法のランプを連想させる個性的なフォルム。
レッド･イエロー･ホワイト･ブルー･グリーンの5色のラインナップの中でも、こちらのブルーは高い人気を誇るカラーです。
Inger Perssonの作品は製作数が少なく、裏面のサインでも分かるように量産品とは別の工房でつくられたスタジオ作品で、本国でも希少なコレクターズアイテムとなっています。
オリジナルのティーストレーナー付き。

経年の品のため釉薬表面に多少の小キズ(画像参照)、ティーストレーナーに多少のヨゴレがは見られますが、釉薬の艶も残っており、大きく目立つダメージのない良好なコンディションかと思います。
本体と蓋との設置面に製造時からの若干の歪みがあり、蓋を取り付けた際に多少のグラつきがあります。
