茨城県笠間市に陶房を構える、主に急須の名工として知られる陶芸家·小川甚八さんの急須です。
手のひらに収まるコロンとした均整のとれたかたちに独特の深みのある釉薬の色合いが魅力的で、見る角度によって様々な景色を見せてくれる、使っても眺めても楽しめる急須です。

特に使用された形跡もなく綺麗な状態で、恐らくは未使用品かと思われます。
