材質は恐らく栗と黒檀かと思われます。
一見シンプルなデザインの中にも配色のバランスや絶妙に角度をつけたサイドなど、高い技術力とデザイン性を感じさせます。
日本のミッドセンチュリーデザインを象徴するモダンな工芸を残したクラフトマンとして、現在欧米で非常に人気の高い作品です。

経年の品のため外箱には若干のイタミはありますが、本体に目立つダメージはなく、状態は良好かと思います。
